Trans America Radio group
Guidelines are for the operation and courtesy of your radio station to other TA members and radio operators. Please read and click on link below for a copy of the membership application
# 1 - we do operate on 27.575 (LSB). (call freq) # 2 - we use Q-Codes and don't use "AM Language". # 3 - we use center slot as call freq. and "QSY" up or down for longer QSO's.
In QSYing up or down keep in mind that 27.570, 27.580, 27.585, 27.600 (LSB) are now used as alternate club frequencies. So you will be able to find and hear other TA members on these frequencies as well as the call frequency.
Remember to ask if the frequency is in use when you QSY to another frequency.
The sidebanders courtesy code has now become the TA Radio Group courtesy code as well.
